FULL MOUTH REHABILITATION
Holistic, long term approach
Holistic, long term approach
Full mouth rehabilitation is a comprehensive treatment plan where all of the teeth in the upper and lower jaw are restored, reinforced, or replaced. The comprehensive treatment plan involves multiple visits to the dentist.
Full mouth rehabilitation may be necessary for patients experiencing a range of dental issues that affect the form and function of the teeth and gums. This treatment is for patients experiencing ongoing dental issues. In some cases, a patient may be experiencing pain or unusual symptoms they cannot identify the source of. Full mouth rehabilitation is ideal for patients with little to no teeth.
A full mouth rehabilitation starts with an in-depth comprehensive evaluation. Our goal is always to preserve the natural infrastructure of the mouth and add various elements of support to grow that existing infrastructure. Each case is unique and each patient will need a custom-made treatment plan, which may include a series of procedures and in some cases implants or maxillofacial surgery. Principal dentist Dr. Singh creates and oversees a detailed treatment plan, the duration of which is dependent on the extent of the treatment required.
At Gentle Dental Umhlanga, we are equipped to perform very high standards of full mouth rehabilitation.
